| PROBLEM: Our drinking water should be clean, pure, and healthy. Some 36 million Americans drink water that is contaminated with toxins, microbes, and other pollutants. The National Academy of Sciences estimated that 200 to 1000 people die in the United States each year from cancer, caused from the long-term effects of ingesting contaminants in the water. Nearly 90% of all violations of the Safe drinking water Act are not reported in the government database. The government only treats the water if its not filtered. We as consumers need to look for alternatives in order to restore or keep our good health. |

SOLUTION: Home Water filters and purifiers are our only personal line of defense. The issues surrounding water quality has always been a critical for us at Convictions of the Heart. Unfortunately, at the root of it all, we need to work to stop damaging our water sources. That being said, drinking bottled water is not necessarily the answer. There is plenty of documentation showing that the bottled water industry is not entirely regulated and rarely checked for pollutants. Many home water filters merely filter the basics in partical size -- such as stones or rust pieces.
